d'artagnan hears that the king's enemy,cardinal richelieu,plans to steal the present.the musketeers and d'artagnan try to get to england to help king louis,but the cardinals guards attack them.only one of the friends gets to england!
d'artagnan wants to be a king's musketeer.“go to paris,” says his father,“and give this letter to monsieur de treville.he is my friend,he can help you.”
d'artagnan goes to see monsieur de treville.in the room there are three musketeers.“these are porthos,athos and aramis,” says monsieur de treville.“they are very good swordsmen!”
the three musketeers and d′artagnan go to eat.
cardinal richelieu's guards are in the inn!
cardinal richelieu isn't the king's friend!the musketeers and the guards are enemies!
“on guard!” shouts athos.
the three musketeers and d'artagnan fight the guards.swords clash;the men jump on the table and run up and down the stairs.
“stop!stop!” shouts the inn keeper.
the king's musketeers are very happy!they win the fight!“inn keeper!let me buy my new friend a cup of wine,” says aramis.
“yes,” say the inn keeper,“and you can buy me some new furniture!”
d'artagnan lives at monsieur bonacieux's house in paris.
it's a small house near the king's palace.
madame bonacieux is a dressmaker at the palace.
one day she speaks to d'artagnan.
“king louis is in london,” says madame bonacieux.“he has got a beautiful cloak for the king of england,the cardinal wants to give the cloak to the pope.”
“the cloak is in a box”,continues madame bonacieux.
“the cardinal's guards will change boxes and take the cloak to rome.the king of england will be very angry.”
d'artagnan speaks to monsieur de treville.“you must go to london,” he says.
“athos,porthos and aramis can go with you.be careful of the cardinal's guards.”
the three musketeers and d'artagnan gallop towards england.they stop for breakfast at chantilly.the cardinal's guards are in the inn.
“i'll fight the guards,” shouts porthos.
aramis,athos and d'artagnan continue to england.
the men ambush the musketeers in a forest.aramis is hurt and can't ride his horse.
“leave me here,” he says,“you must go to the king.”
athos and d'artagnan arrive at calais and go to the port.
“oh no,” says d'artagnan.“the cardinal's guards are near the ship!” athos points his sword at the guards and shouts to d'artagnan,“jump on the ship,i will stay here!”
d'artagnan tells the king about the cardinal's plan.king louis is furious!
“i have an idea,your majesty,” says d'artagnan.“put the box on a chair in your bedroom,tonight.”
that night,d'artagnan hides under the king's bed.he sees two men with a box.they come in the king's bedroom and change the boxes.
“ha,ha,ha,”laughs d'artagnan.he is very pleased!
when the king of england opens his box there is the beautiful cloak.he is very pleased.
the pope isn't very happy with the cardinal's present.in his box there is a pair of shorts!
